Nestled between Mission Beach and Mission Bay this upper-level beach house (WITH 3 CAR PARKING) is the perfect location for beach travelers to experience classic Southern California! Located on a narrow peninsula, you are steps away from the tranquil bay, buzzing beach, active boardwalk, and signature Belmont Park with rides and restaurants overlooking the ocean. After a day of enjoying beach life, relax on the rooftop, fire up the grill/smoker, and enjoy the SeaWorld fireworks.
This upper level beach house is perfectly located to experience all Mission Beach has to offer. Steps from Mission Beach and Mission Bay, the unit features 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. All rooms have Apple TVs except master bedroom.
The master bedroom has a California King sized bed with two nightstands, two dressers, and a closet. The master bath features a tub and shower combo, jets, and CLOSET along with his and hers sinks with vanity.
Bedroom 2 has a queen sized bed along with a nightstand, dresser, and Apple TV.
Bedroom 3 has a queen sized bed along with a nightstand, exercise bike, and Apple TV.
The living room features two super-comfortable couches(which both pull out), a flat screen TV, and a beautiful fireplace.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need during your stay, which also includes an air fryer that is also a toaster, instant pot, juicer and spiralizer.
The dining room has a dining table with seating for 6.
The front patio is private and has a Traeger smoker which can also be used as a grill. Also included are beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, a kayak and a beach umbrella.

You will have the entire condo, which is the upper unit of a two unit property, and exclusive use of the private rooftop deck. There is an outdoor stairway that leads from the side of the house to our unit and the 2 car garage belongs to our unit. Both units face onto a walkway that runs to the beach to the west and to Mission Blvd to the east. Automobile access to our garage is from the alley at the rear of the unit .The alley can be entered from Mission Blvd or from Strand Ave, a one way street that runs parallel to Mission Blvd on the beach side.
We also have inflatable floatation toys in the garage, beach games, etc.

This stretch of Mission Beach is the epitome of an amazing beach destination. With access to Mission Bay and Mission Beach within seconds, every water sport you can think of is within reach. During the days, you'll see bikers, scooters, rollerbladers, runners, and walkers enjoying both the bay-side and beach-side boardwalks. Both beaches offer something for everyone, from the calm beach of the bay to the roaring beach of the Pacific. The area has endless dining options, great beach bars, a nearby beach front amusement park, grocery stores and markets. Everything you'll want to access is walk-able and you can easily rent bikes and scooters nearby.
If you rent a car or bring your own, we have 3 parking spaces for you onsite! Uber and Lyft are very popular around here and you can get a ride within minutes since they generally hang around Belmont. Electric Scooters (Birds) are also a popular and convenient option. In addition, bikes are great for the boardwalk and there are multiple places to rent them nearby.
This home is in a high-density neighborhood and is only appropriate for quieter groups. There is a "no tolerance" policy for excessive noise, parties or indoor smoking. Failure to abide by these policies may lead to immediate eviction without refund. Please be sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting this home.

There was a ton of stuff that was messed up in there. Broken tiles on the counter, there were ants in the kitchen the whole time we were there, the “screen” for the outdoor patio was thrashed, in the pictures it showed that we had a fire pit and there wasn’t one, the beds were super uncomfortable. Like $1500 for 2 nights was crazy honestly and the 2 car garage was NOT a 2 car garage. You could fit 2 tiny little cars MAYBE but anyone with a bigger car couldn’t fit two cars in there. Towels smelled like mildew Best part location, but that’s it.
The location itself is great, and we really appreciated that aspect of the stay. However, there were several issues that affected our experience. We noticed ants throughout the home, multiple cobwebs, and a strong unpleasant odor coming from the sink. Additionally, on the day of arrival, the host informed us that the washer, dryer, and dishwasher were not working. While the host did offer a 15% discount to help offset this, it didn’t fully make up for the inconveniences. Overall, due to these concerns, I’m not sure I would choose to stay here again.
We had a wonderful month long stay at this home by the beach. Walk street location just steps from Mission Beach made daily sunsets easy and amazing to capture. Having a garage to park made getting around very low stress since street parking can be challenging sometimes. The only reason we are not giving this home a 5 star rating is because we’d like to signal to the owners that it is time to give the home a little love. Nothing dramatic needed, just cosmetic touch ups and decluttering. Maybe some new bed linens and pillows and blankets. Master bed was very comfortable. The home comes with a lot of beach toys, but a couple beach chairs were broken on arrival. Overall amazing month of March and this home is perfect “Beach Shack”, but with a little paint and cosmetic touch ups, it could easily be a 5 star “Beach Retreat”.
